The Project Management Professional (PMP) is issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world reference body for project management. More than one million professionals are PMP-certified across 200+ countries, making it the most widely recognized certification in the field.
The version effective since July 9, 2026 is built on PMBOK 8 and explicitly covers hybrid agility, stakeholder engagement, sustainability, and the use of artificial intelligence in project management.
